Arts Funding/Sponsorship Application

Thank you for your interest in receiving funding or sponsorship from La Sala NW. We are committed to supporting the vibrant Latine/x arts community in the greater Seattle area and providing resources for local Latine/x artists and organizations to thrive. This application form will help us understand your project and determine how we can best support your artistic endeavors. We encourage you to carefully review the guidelines and eligibility criteria at the bottom of this form before submitting your application.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be based and projects should take place in the greater Seattle area.

  • Projects must align with La Sala NW's mission and values.

  • Priority will be given to projects that demonstrate a strong community impact and artistic merit.

  • The maximum funding or sponsorship awarded per project is [$ Dollar amount].

    • The typical funding range is [Dollar amount] to [Dollar amount].

    • We typically provide up to X% percentage of the total cost of the event

    • Because La Sala NW is an organization that primarily funds artists, we do not fund food or beverage costs. Applicants are encouraged to seek community resources for these types of contributions.

Submission Guidelines:

  • All fields are required unless otherwise specified.

  • There is no deadline for applications, but please submit them at least 8 weeks prior to the date of your event. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Selection Process:

  • Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee of arts professionals and community representatives that includes the board of La Sala NW and its Executive Director..

  • Applicants will be notified of the decision within 2 weeks of the application deadline.

Acceptance Process:

  • Acceptance of funds/sponsorship by La Sala NW implies agreement to acknowledge of La Sala NW and its funders as sponsors of this event and to display their logos and information/language prominently in all printed and online publicity as well as social media to be released at least 45 days before the supported event takes place.

  • Accepted applicants will provide within 4 weeks after the event date a detailed report including information about the number of attendees, a final digital copy of the program, digital photos/videos of the event, digital sample of artists' work, samples of promotional material with logo of La Sala NW and funders, links to social media or news articles referencing the event, etc. This information will be used to report back to our donors and funders.
